ABOUT THE ROLE 

An A-LIGN Customer Success Manager will work as a branch of Customer Success on customer accounts. With the guide of the Director of Customer Success and Senior Customer Success Managers, they will execute client related tasks. They are responsible for account management, direct communication with Strategic Account Management (SAM) team, and maintaining good client relationships. They are also responsible for client retention, resign opportunities and identifying potential growth opportunities. Overall, in this role you will uphold the values of Partner, Serve and Lead.   

REPORTS TO: Senior Customer Success Manager 

PAY CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Exempt  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Maintaining open communication with existing clients (warm leads) with the goal to increase revenue for each existing client 
  • Supporting the Customer Success Team message of Partner, Serve and Lead  
  • Assisting with any client related follow up tasks or team projects   
  • Maintaining a positive A-LIGN representation when speaking with clients  
  • Able to manage and analyze client accounts to determined correct status of the account  
  • Learning the nature of our work, industry terminology, etc., to represent our firm in a professional manner 
  • Develop service line knowledge and sales skills to promote to a Senior Customer Success Manager 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

EDUCATION 

Bachelor’s degree OR relevant work experience 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 

  • Preferred, but not required, experience with at least one (1) year working in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing or Professional Services/Auditing  

SKILLS 

  • Ability to be responsive during non-traditional working hours due to span of control (EST – MST) 
  • Strong computer/Microsoft Office skills 
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow oral and written instructions 
  • A high degree of flexibility, professionalism, and intellectual curiosity
