About the Role:

As a Project Specialist you will be working with a team of highly skilled and experienced Compliance managers and consultants. The Project Specialist will function as the primary resource for helping set up and manage projects. As the Project Specialist your primary focus will be to serve the team by ensuring that projects stay on track. In this role you will be responsible for helping set up projects, communicating with clients, as well completing various project tasks in support of the PCI compliance team.

REPORTS TO: PCI Practice Lead


• Manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Coordinate internal and external meetings
• Assign resources needed to achieve project goals
• Monitor project activities and create project related documentation
• Proactively manage changes to scope, cost, and schedule of project work
• Utilize Salesforce to track and adjust project schedules
• Act as a liaison between the service delivery team and client contacts, ensuring timely execution of tasks and on-time receipt of client deliverables.
• Utilize high critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
• Schedule clients for multi-year agreements
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise Project Coordinators
• Develop or enhance best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Devise contingency plans as needed
• Assist senior management in all aspects of project performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative)

Bachelor’s degree in project management, or a related discipline

• Some project management or equivalent experience successfully managing projects
• Thorough understanding of project management and tools available
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce
• Experience in security, compliance, and/or audit is helpful
• Experience with direct client communications
• Proven experience managing projects and customer expectations


  • PMP (preferred but not required)
