A-LIGN is excited to announce that Alex Welsh, Associate Manager, is a recipient of the Florida Institute of CPAs’ (FICPA) Horizon Award.
This honor recognizes young certified public accountants (CPAs) at the forefront of the profession that are accelerating in the accounting field through professional experience, leadership, entrepreneurship and professional credentials.

Alex Welsh, CPA, CISA joined A-LIGN in 2017 and is an Associate Manager focused on ISO 27001, HIPAA, and SOC cybersecurity audits and is based out of Boca Raton, Florida. Her involvement with the FICPA includes successfully completing their Emerging Leader program, involvement as a Region Leader for the Emerging Leader Program and chairing committees such as Young CPAs and Women in Leadership. Alex is passionate about giving back and does so with the Salvation Army, Junior Achievement and Junior League of Boca Raton. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance.
